BOGGART: A rabid werewolf that’s all nice and red-eyed and foaming at the mouth and is out to get Dorcas (she hasn’t really met a rabid werewolf but her imagination tells her that they would scare the pants off of Dorcas)
PATRONUS: Dorcas hasn’t been able to produce a corporal patronus yet, but don’t tell her mother that. ;]

FAMILY: Dorcas’s parents, Robert and Melinda Meadowes, are both wizards, although Melinda is a muggleborn while Robert is a pureblood. Robert works as an auror for the Ministry while Melinda is a co-owner of Flourish & Blotts. Dorcas has no siblings but she always wishes that she did so that it would take a bit of the pressure that her parents put on her off her shoulders. Her most important relative in her life is probably her father’s brother, Camden Meadowes. He’s the one that has encourages her in her painting as well as in her pursuit to become an auror. Dorcas knows that she can tell him anything and get an unbiased opinion if she asks him for advice.

BIOGRAPHY: It all started on a sunny may day in the year 1960. Out came little red-faced Dorcas Meadowes, already kicking and screaming to be heard. Her childhood was a happy one, albeit an unusual one even by wizarding standards. She attended a muggle primary school and was taught the basics and theories of spells and potions on the weekends by her mother. She wasn’t totally cut off from wizarding society however, as her mother would take her to Diagon Alley every once in a while to see all of the little knickknacks that the peddlers on the street sold and to see the new brooms and such. All in all, Dorcas lived a happy childhood (which is probably why she grew up to be a vivacious ball of fire that happily scared first years just for fun).

And because she was a witch and because her parents didn’t feel like homeschooling her (or more like they didn’t feel like dealing with her), Dorcas was, at the (not so) tender age of eleven, shipped off to Hogwarts where she wallowed in misery for the next five years.

Yeah. Right.

Dorcas loved Hogwarts. It was full of life, mishaps, and most importantly people just like her. Of course, she was sorted into Gryffindor as her parents had been. After that, as they say, the rest is history. Dorcas did well in her classes, developed a thing for scaring first years, became obsessed with meeting a werewolf (but not a rabid one, thank you very much), learned how to get out of detentions with McGonagall, made the Gryffindor Quidditch team as one of their beaters, and finally discovered just why boys are generally known to be pranking assholes thanks to the marauders (who aren’t really assholes, but Dorcas just likes making fun of them). So that’s Dorcas’s last five years at Hogwarts in a nutshell. Aren’t you almost afraid to find out what might just happen in her sixth year?

Yep. Thought so.

PERSONALITY: Ask anybody who goes to Hogwarts what they think of Dorcas and they’ll tell you that although she puts on a façade of being utterly demure, she is really one hell of a girl. Sure, she can be horribly picky and quite annoying, but she’s a real nice girl and friendly…most of the time. Dorcas has a temper. It’s not the normal hate-then-makeup temper, it’s the i-want-to-kill-you-right-now-temper. Maybe it’s because she always seems to be underestimated or maybe it’s just because Dorcas is…Dorcas. Who knows? But one thing’s for sure, do not mess with her. Dorcas likes to think that she doesn’t have many enemies, but with her temper, it’s kind of hard to believe. If you as so even put a toe across her tolerance boundaries, you’d better start running for your life, because she won’t hesitate to hex your eyeballs out. However, if you watch yourself and don’t annoy Dorcas, she can be as sweet as your dear old mum.

Well, generally speaking, of course.

Dorcas had always considered herself the person with the strongest character in her family. She was passionate, vivacious, stubborn, and most of all she would go to the end of the world to prove that she was right. Dorcas has this inane desire to prove everybody wrong. You disagree with her? She’ll smash her opinion into your face. Ever since she was just a little girl, she would get into fights with just about EVERYBODY about who was right and who was wrong. Competition is another thing that Dorcas thrives on. Her ambition and competitive attitude go hand in hand, making Dorcas one deadly girl.

Despite her faults and flaws, Dorcas really is just a normal girl witch. She’s clumsy, fun-loving, goofy, and really just wants to have a good time.

APPEARANCE: Dorcas is a pretty girl; there’s no denying that. She’s average in height (5’ 6”) and maybe just a tad bit too skinny (110 lbs.), but it all suits her. She has big blue eyes that seems to be able to appear innocent yet passionate at the same time. Dorcas has a bad habit of not liking to smile fully so there’s a plethora of pictures that show Dorcas with her signature half-smile. Sometimes, however, you’ll be able to see Dorcas’s full smile and boy, will you be blown away. Her brown mane of hair is usually down although sometimes she’ll put it up for Quidditch (actually she always does at the insistence of her teammates but Dorcas likes to feel in control, hence acting like it’s her decision to put her hair up). One of her defining characteristics is her laugh. She never laughs that little sad laugh that most girls do, she always lets it loose and throws her head back and fully laughs. It’s just one of those things that discerns Dorcas from all the other girls at Hogwarts. You can usually find her in a pair of worn out jeans and a slogan t-shirt of some sort when she’s not in her Hogwarts uniform.
